Our Story
Nature's Design Dog Spa was founded with a simple mission: to provide a low-stress grooming experience for dogs who struggle with reactivity and fear in traditional grooming environments.
As someone who has been i this industry for nearly a decade, I understand that many dogs have had negative experiences with grooming, leading to stress and behavioral challenges. That's why we've created a completely different approach.
Our Approach
Every appointment at Nature's Design is a one-on-one experience. Your dog will never be placed in a kennel with other barking dogs or rushed through the process. We take the time needed for each individual pup, allowing for breaks, reassurance, and gentle handling. If your dog does need a brak, we have open suites with dog beds or they can spend time in our secure office area under the watchful eyes of our team members

We don't book back-to-back appointments. Each dog gets the time they need, whether that's 45 minutes or 3 hours. Your dog's comfort is more important than our schedule.

We specialize in working with reactive, fearful, and "difficult" dogs. Many of our clients have been turned away by other groomers. We use low-stress handling & enrichment techniques and create a calm environment that helps anxious dogs feel safe.

Specialized treatments including medicated baths, therapeutic oils, clay masks scrubes & more. We work closely with veterinarians to support dogs with dermatological issues.

Vic - Owner & Certified Canine Esthetician
As the founder of Nature's Design Dog Spa, I've dedicated my career to helping dogs who struggle with traditional grooming experiences. This means dogs with behavioral struggles with regard to groming, as well as medical and topical struggles. I became a certified canine esthentician... So I could help a wider range of struggling dogs and their owners.
I've worked with many of reactive dogs over the years, and I've seen firsthand how the right approach can transform a terrified dog into one who walks happily through our door. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a previously "ungroomable" dog succeed.
When I'm not grooming, I'm continuing my education on canine behavior, attending workshops, and connecting with other professionals in the community. I believe that providing these services requires constant learning and adaptation.
